I quite literally just woke up in the hospital.

... and is also handcuffed to the bed, so he legitimately isn't going anywhere at this point. The date is the 30th of December, just more than a day off from it being the New Year.

And he's probably gonna be questioned a lot.

But at the least, you can probably convince the guard to let a visitor or two in.*

Formally, I'm on the Police and OOPARTS' contact list as a psychologist with experience with supernatural affairs and difficult prisoners or suspects.

Informally, I have offered help to you for a while, and I continue to extend my hand.

Of course you haven't been completely charged yet, so, you don't have to say anything to me, and we can get a lawyer in here if you feel your legal rights are being impinged and you might say something incriminating, etc. etc. etc.

Oh, no, at this point, I still kinda half-expect I'm going to vanish as the universe tries to step on me for daring to exist in the same temporal space as someone else with my name, so I'm honestly feeling very open and chatty at the moment.

Plus I finally got to eat. Which is nice.

We can deal with that part now that Chacu Challua is out of the way, but my daughters Aisling and Euphemia are better equipped to handle Unrealized Realities and Non-Existent Timelines.

Because I didn't really want to keep feeding the god that was attached to me. Because I didn't want to deal with confronting my alternate.

... But... I guess on some little part, I didn't want to deal with the idea of what would happen if I did succeed in the exorcism, on myself.
