At the obviously very generous suggestion by Shian, Tarou decided that yes, SAI might be a good place to learn more about spirits and their influences-- or at the least, he could compare his own information to whatever SAI had to offer.

The place researching psychic duelists and how to help them was also a personal bonus.

But still, he's outside of the building, checking his bag to make sure all of his notes are in order. It's a good time to approach him casually.*

So Shian tells me that you do research on Duel Spirits. Specifically how they've influenced human history?

It's something I've devoted a lot of my time towards-- though I'll admit in my experience, it's still been somewhat of a niche department of research. Very hard to get people to take it seriously.

Though Domino seems to be rather accepting of the field. I imagine that's in part due to your work here at "SAI"?

Part of SAI's goal is to not only give monsters and spirits who choose to live here the help they need to adjust to life on Earth and human customs, but also to educate the general public on them.
In general, you'll find the idea of them existing is generally accepted around Domino City.

That said, people who do research into them tend to be few and far between, so I'm always excited to meet someone who's taking the time to study them.

Though correct me if I'm wrong, I believe that this building also does research into Psychic Duelists?

That's correct! This building used to belong to the Arcadia Movement that was specifically for Psychic Duelists, so when I merged my own organisation with it, we carried on the research, help and training for Psychic Duelists here.

Psychic Duelists are actually what spurred on my research in the first place. It's why I was curious.
